Sam brings to DMGroup a combination of strategic management consulting and hands-on classroom teaching experience. Proficient in analytical and project management skills, Sam’s proven work in the consulting arena and his deep knowledge from working directly with students provide a high level of aptitude to any project. At DMGroup, Sam has led turnaround efforts in low-performing districts, strategic budgeting efforts, program evaluation, special education reviews and scheduling.

Other Professional Experience

  • Prior to joining DMGroup, Sam taught 9th grade physics at the English High School in Boston, where his students achieved 93% passing rates on the state physics MCAS exam.
  • Sam also worked as a consultant for The Boston Consulting Group where he routinely performed analysis, conducted interviews and synthesized findings for a range of projects. For instance, he helped the CTO of a financial services firm prioritize and evaluate spending priorities for a $2.1B in order to align with the stated strategy.
  • Further, Sam worked for Stroud Consulting where he led operational change efforts, partnering with clients to identify opportunities and follow through on implementation to see a bottom-line impact. In addition, he trained client leaders on management techniques, problem solving and strategies to develop talent in their organizations.
