There’s a collegiality piece that I think is very necessary. Sometimes our work is very isolating in districts and it’s great to get a better perspective on what’s happening nationally across the country.

I always know there is going to be very thoughtful and innovative learning.

It's not only getting expertise from DMGroup but also collaborating with superintendents nationwide so we can see how different districts address similar problems and learn from one another.

It's really important to understand that you're not alone in this work, that we all have the same struggles, and that there are solutions that others have come up with, which you can apply to your own district.

District Management Group has been so helpful in terms of providing an annual place to learn with other superintendents across the country and equally helpful to be a partner that we can work with to implement those practices in our home districts.
