An essential resource for superintendents and school district leaders

Since 2004, District Management Council (DMCouncil) has brought together central office and building leaders representing all types of school districts across the United States who are committed to driving transformational change in public education by applying management and education best practices. DMCouncil was founded on the beliefs that in order to achieve this goal, district leaders must not only be great educators but also great leaders and managers, and that, as district leaders, there is much to be learned from one another.

I use a lot of the resources that DMCouncil provides as part of our own work in the district with our Administrative Council, developing our strategic plan, even with the Board of Education and the broader community. These resources have become integral in our work as a system.

Dr. Christine Carver, Superintendent Bethel Public Schools (CT)

I love the fact that I feel like I could call anybody on the DMCouncil staff at any time and check into our work or to toss an idea their way and get some collaboration regarding that.

Dr. Dana West, Former Superintendent Amarillo Independent School District (TX)

The quality of programming and the information presented sets DMCouncil apart from any of the conferences I attend.
