Superintendents’ Strategy Summit

Collaborate and learn with fellow superintendents from across the country

About the Summit

An immersive learning experience exclusively for superintendents

District Management Group’s Superintendents’ Strategy Summit, our premier annual conference, brings together our forward-thinking member superintendents from across the country for an immersive leadership conference and collaborative professional development experience with leading experts on key strategic topics.

During this three-day conference, superintendents come together in a unique environment to push their own thinking, share ideas, and explore our latest research and insights on ways to combine management techniques and education best practices to bring about transformational improvement in school districts.

In addition to learning from DMGroup subject-matter experts, the Summit is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for superintendents to connect with fellow superintendents from all over the county for shared learning, collaborative problem solving, and camaraderie. With no vendors present, superintendents can engage in candid, high-value discussions in a collegial environment. Our participants leave with new strategies and inspiration for leading transformational improvement in their districts.

I mark this event on my calendar every year. Wonderful information, great camaraderie, a new way of looking at challenges.

Dr. Ehren Jarrett, Superintendent Rockford School District #205 (IL)

To trade ideas and talk about our common work is something that, as superintendents, we don’t have a lot of opportunity to do.

Dr. Christine Carver, Superintendent Bethel Public Schools (CT)

In this business, you have to be a lifelong learner. Things change, and you have to change, and you have to learn. I think it's probably some of the best staff development or professional development that I'm involved with.

J. Alvin Wilbanks, CEO/Superintendent Gwinnett County Public Schools (GA)

I love the Superintendents’ Strategy Summit. I get to hear from others not just from my state but from across the country.

Dr. Dana West, Former Superintendent Amarillo ISD (TX)

We work in teams, discuss things, work through case studies and simulation activities – that doesn’t happen at regular national conferences.

Dr. Brian White, Superintendent Butler Area School District (PA)

The speakers at the event challenge my thinking a great deal

Dr. Charles Dupre, Superintendent Fort Bend ISD (TX)
